Artist's Statement

Color and Form have influenced me since my teens, when I designed my own clothes. Now quilting has bcome the creative outlet for that interest. After beginning with very traditional patterns and fabrics, I gradually gravitated toward more vibrant colors and my own designs. Choosing the fabric and color combinations constantly inspires new ideas and provides much satisfaction. Contemporary quilting is a new facet in my art direction.
