Artist’s Statement
I am drawn to all images that contain clean lines and are arranged in complex and compelling abstract images. Traditional quilt patterns are based on simple geometry and use the color and value of the fabrics to create compelling abstract images. I then add another aspect to the quilts with an abundance of quilting, creating a three-dimensional, sculptured look-and-feel.
